Abu Dhabi Opens the Door for the World’s Next AI Founders

Abu Dhabi is strengthening its position as one of the world’s most promising destinations for artificial intelligence, innovation, and high-growth entrepreneurship.

Applications are now open for Hub71+ AI Cohort 20, a flagship programme designed to support artificial intelligence startups that are ready to build, scale, and expand from the UAE. For founders developing bold AI solutions, the initiative offers more than financial support. It provides access to Abu Dhabi’s fast-growing technology ecosystem, investor networks, corporate partners, mentors, and global market opportunities.

The 12-month programme is scheduled to begin in February 2027, with applications closing on August 2, 2026. Selected startups can receive support worth up to AED 750,000, giving early-stage and growth-stage ventures the resources needed to accelerate commercial development and establish a strong presence in Abu Dhabi.

The support package includes AED 250,000 in cash investment through a SAFE note, AED 250,000 in in-kind incentives and business credits, and an additional AED 250,000 top-up opportunity for high-performing startups committed to growing from Abu Dhabi.

Beyond capital, the programme provides founders with practical support that can make a major difference in the early stages of expansion. This includes assistance with office setup, licensing, operational costs, business services, mentorship, investor access, and introductions to corporate and government partners.
